About
MediaWorks is a design-based printing and promotions company based in Clarksville, TN. The company was started in approximately 1987 and began a management transition in June 1999 that led to new ownership in January 2000.
Since 2000, MediaWorks has focused on improving equipment and facilities while developing staff to be an aggressive force in design and printing. We have worked hard to distinguish ourselves as a quality company working from a foundation of honesty, integrity and a commitment to excellence.
MediaWorks has provided consistent, quality design and has been recognized with awards for creative design and printed materials. We focus on providing creative work for large industries, nationwide companies, small local businesses as well as churches and ministries.
In 2005, the purchase of Walker Printing, one of Clarksville’s oldest printing businesses increased capacity for printing and linked MediaWorks with a legacy to make us the oldest design and printing business in Clarksville. An opportunity to purchase a building at 116 Hiter Street in historic downtown Clarksville in March 2007 was a blessing. It allowed us to move to expanded facilities suited to our needs while placing us on a location that was once one of Clarksville’s earliest business properties.
Although the building is a metal structure, it is backed up by the brick and stone foundation of the orginal tobacco warehouse built around 1875. The original sturcture was destroyed by fire in 1985 and the first metal building after the fire was destroyed in the January 1999 tornado that devastated downtown Clarksville. The current structure was built on the same foundation after the tornado. A brick wall in the MediaWorks lobby is constructed of brick salvaged from the historic tobacco warehouse.
MediaWorks enjoys an excellent reputation within the community with good customer satisfaction. Continued growth and market penetration is possible with consistent focus on teamwork and quality production.
